Well, I have severely neglected the blog...just so swamped the past few weeks!! I will update will all the sessions I didn't get a chance to post, but for now, I wanted to share these. My very last newborn of 2009!!! And boy was she the most adorable, chubby, scrumptious little thing ever!!!! I had so many favorites, it was hard to choose a few for the blog. A nice chilly, overcast morning at the beach was perfect for the photos. 3 great families braved the walk down (and back up which is worse) to get down to the beach. But I hope it was worth it!! With such a short time remaining in the year, I wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has made it such a great on for JLV Photography!! I have been overwhelmed by the support and success of this small idea :)

November is now fully booked. I can possibly do a few weekday sessions based on availability, but all weekends are full, thank you!!

The only weekend still available this year is Dec. 12 and 13. I cannot guarantee you will get your images by Christmas, so keep that in mind if you want to book that weekend.

Again, thank you to all my clients, you are awesome!! I so appreciate the support and look forward to a great 2010!!

We braved the 100 degree heat and smoky air to capture this wonderful couple as they expect their baby girl in a few months. Yes folks, it's Sept. 1, only 113 days until Christmas! Time to start thinking about that holiday card photo. JLV Photograhy is proud to announce Holiday Mini-Sessions!!! The last mini-sessions were so successful so I thought I just had to do them for the holidays. I did them a little different this time though, since holiday cards are what most people are looking for.

Each mini-session client will have access to a Holiday Card Design Gallery where you can see the card options and choose the one you would like. I will fully customize the card for you (change the sayings, text, etc.) Layouts cannot be changed. Or you can choose to have the image of your choice in High-Resolution format for your own card. Easy! Plus you will get 10% off any additional card, print or product order.

Full CDs of the mini-sessions will be available to purchase at a discount as well. Full price sheets will be sent to you upon booking of your session.

Please contact me to book your session...they will fill up fast! A 50% deposit is due to book your session.

My baby girl is 23 months tomorrow...one more month until she is 2. I can't believe has fast time goes and how much she has changed. She is such a little lady now, talking, running, pretending, asserting her independence (she does this a lot). Just crazy. Locations:Friday Sessions will be held at my home in Moorpark. These will be studio style with various backdrops and props available.

Saturday Sessions will be held at the Conejo Valley Botanic Garden in Thousand Oaks using the beautiful natural scenery as the backdrop.

What’s Included?
*15-30 minute session
*5-15 edited images hosted in a private gallery available within 10 days
*1 8x10, 2 5x7, 8 wallets of your favorite image from your session
*Additional prints/packages may be ordered at a discounted rate

How Much:The mini-session fee is $60 with a 50% deposit being due upon booking to reserve your time slot. Should you be unable to make your session, your deposit is refundable if your session time slot is booked by someone else. If I cannot re-book your session time slot, you will be given a credit in the amount of your deposit to be used toward a future session. If all sessions are booked you may be put on a waiting list in the even that there is a cancellation.

Today was such a fun day!! I did a marathon of Easter mini-sessions at the house and had 5 adorable kiddos participate. It was a blast and I am so excited about the results! I love Easter clothes, props, etc., so festive. And who can resist a basket full of colored eggs?? I look forward to making these mini-sessions a regular occurance for holidays, so look for my next one around Father's Day. Enjoy!!

My Little Valentine

On a rainy day, what better to do that a photo shoot inside! This is my first time with a mock "studio" set up at home. We had fun and that is what matters. Not much light to work with on a cloudy day, but we did our best. Happy Valentine's Day!!
